PACKAGING DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

SIPA has an arsenal of tools that can help customers create containers that will gain consumers’ attention, and which can be produced economically and sustainably. Design and development experts understand the key parameters that need to be considered from the idea all the way through to a successful product. They consider not only the look of a container, but also how the look fits with the brand identity, how the container behaves, how easy it is to produce, how it performs on the filling line, in storage, and in transport, and how much it costs.
SIPA can create preform designs, for whatever size of container, incorporating special features in the neck and body, and then make sure that the blowing and filling equipment is best configured to work with them. SIPA stands out as having developed the lightest containers available, anywhere.

TOOLING SOLUTIONS

SIPA provides preform tooling for proprietary and legacy equipment with up to 200 cavities, becoming one of the largest supplier with several manufacturing facilities and conversion/refurbishing hubs.
Preform tooling produced by SIPA feature several benefits to support optimum performance: wear resistant coating to achieve a longer mold life, optimized cooling layout to support fast cycle times and reduce energy costs, patented hot runner technology to extend maintenance intervals to new records.

SIPA provides the widest range or preforms and containers manufacturing solutions on the market.
Our PET preforms manufacturing range now comprises two major families, XFORM preform injection systems and XTREME Injection-compression systems, each with its own distinctive technology, for different sectors of the global packaging industry. SIPA is the only provider in the market owning the expertise in container manufacturing solutions, both single-stage (ECS range) and two-stage (SFL and XTRA). A technological partner capable to meet specific customer needs offering appropriate and innovative solutions. Always considering factors such as container cost, flexibility demand and sustainability as a whole. All our platforms can produce 100% rPET as well as other polymers containers and preforms.

Rotary blowing systems:

Maximum performance without compromise

XTRA is a concentrate of technology, but most important of benefits: user friendly system with the highest bhc output in the industry, the widest active process angle, unmatched bottle quality regardless preform material (rPET, bio-based resins), energy saving across the board, extreme user-friendliness, plus a totally open system. This perfect combination of performance, speed, quality levels and saving leads to a reduction in Total Cost of Ownership.
On the booth at NPE 2024 XTRA is set in its PH (preferencial heating) version producing very technical but attractive oval container for alcoholic beverages.

Linear blowing systems:

Flexibility at the highest levels

Linear stretch-blowmoulding systems: the most flexible system and user-friendly platform in the market for the production of the larger variety of containers (standard, heat set, refillable, oval, large sizes and wide mouth).
